Chart notes
TALE OF KANTHAROS stalked the pace on the outside, gained a striking position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, made a steady gain and edged up in the final strides. BREVET OFFICER well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the turn, bid on that path into the stretch, shook clear late and was outfinished. FOLTYNEWICZ sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then weakened late and held the show. REDMARK allowed to settle, saved ground through the turn, came through inside and had a mild gain in the lane. INDIAN TANGO allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the turn, bid three wide into the lane and ran evenly. ROBERTOS TICKET tracked the pace well back, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and weakened in the drive. C THE KING broke a step slowly from the gate and was never involved.
