Chart notes
GRAN CITY prompted the pace two wide until deep stretch, responded under left handed urging and was along in time. YO BERBS had speed from the start along the rail, lacked racing room at the quarter pole then again in mid stretch, angled outside the lead, was in tight late but got up for second. BEAUTIFUL GAME checked between horses shortly after the start then closed a gap late in the five path. MAKES GOOD SENSE away alertly, set the pace until deep stretch then was outfinished. TOM T WHO vied for the lead four wide and failed to respond. BOUND TO GO stalked the pace three wide into the stretch then faded late. YOUNG AMERICAN trailed.
