Chart notes
ALAYLA pressed the early leader, took command through the far turn and held gamely to be clear under steady handling. SHE ANSWERED stalked the pace, moved up three wide around the far turn, raced four wide into the upper stretch and finished second best. HOPE HAS A NAME settled off the early pace, raced near the inside around the far turn, made a three to four wide bid through the stretch and had not enough for the top pair. LILACS showed good early speed to set the early pace and gave way in the drive. KABIKEKA was off slowly, raced five deep at the three sixteenths pole and never was a factor.
