VEGAS WEEKEND chased the pace from the two path down the backstretch, pressed the leader into the far turn, inched to the front into the lane then widened through the final eighth. HYPERNOVA set the pace while near the rail into the far turn, was joined by the winner in mid-turn, stayed with that one into the lane then could not keep up.
