Chart notes
A COTSWOLD VILLAGE well placed, gained a striking position three and four wide through the turn, bid four wide into the lane, made a steady gain and edged up late. GOLOVKIN set the pace on the inside, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then weakened late and held the place. HE'S ON THE FLY rated outside, held position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch and lacked the needed late kick. QUARTERMASTER well placed and between rivals, angled in and raced boxed through the turn, steadied through the stretch run, then angled out late and could not gain. CLAW well placed, moved up two and three wide through the turn, bid three wide into the lane and weakened. GET ALONG never far back, moved up inside through the turn, angled out into the stretch and had no rally.
