Chart notes
SEVENTH WAVE broke sharply to set a pressured pace from off the rail, opened a clear margin nearing the three-eighths pole and drew off through the lane with authority. SMILE FOR ASHLEY broke awkwardly, lacked early foot, raced off the rail through the turn and finished with a steady bid. OFFICER OF WAR chased the leaders while racing four-wide throughout and failed to gain in the drive. FIREBALL RED pressed the pace of the winner from the inside, steadied nearing the seven-sixteenths pole and did not threaten thereafter. PRINCE OF LUCK showed brief speed, raced five-wide through the turn and weakened. SALE' Y VALE showed no early foot, lugged out through the turn and did not offer a bid.
