KURILOV (CHI) settled back shortly after leaving the gate and trailed the field, began to circle the field entering the lane, swept past the leaders three wide nearing the eighth pole and drew away late under a brisk drive. J W RUCKUS stalked the pace early, raced from between horses along both turns, was off the rail into the lane and no match for the winner in the stretch run. CAN'TBETEMALL broke a bit slow at the start, pressed the pace early two wide, was off the rail into the lane and weakened late in the stretch drive. RANSACK set the pace early on, was on the inside into the lane and faltered late in the stretch. MISSISSIPPI tracked the pace early on, raced on the inside along both turns and faded late in the stretch. TEZ chased the pace early on, raced three wide along both turns and eased up late in the stretch run.
