Chart notes
JENNINGS vied for the lead early on while between horses, was off the rail into the lane, under a long drive down the lane and prevailed in the final stages. EMPERADOR chased the pace early, was in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane, was gaining late and just up for place at the wire. SPEITFUL SAM broke out at the start, vied for the lead early from the inside, stayed on the inside into the lane, was under a long drive in the stretch but was outfinished and lost place at the wire. ATOKA vied for the lead early three wide, was in the three path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch run. AERONAUT hopped and was bumped at the start, trailed the field early on, was off the rail into the lane and moved up in the stretch drive. GENTLE SOUL was bothered at the start, raced in the three path into the lane and flattened out late in the stretch. AMAZING ROCKET was in the four path into the lane and lacked a rally in the stretch run. DANDY'S MAGIC was never a threat.
