Chart notes
FU MAN SUE tapered in through the front stretch and stalked off the rail, started a bid toward the three eighths pole and contested the far turn at a close disadvantage two deep, dug in for the lead mid-stretch and held on under steady urging. ANOTHER VICTORY saved ground on the opening turn then bid nearing the three eighths pole, ran three wide through the far turn, dug in for second later yards and was gaining on the winner. NOBLE COMMANDER rated the pace inside, came under pressure nearing the five sixteenths pole, contested the advantage nearest the rail on the far turn, gave up the lead mid-stretch then flattened later yards. WALK AWAY JOE settled back inside the first turn, bid approaching the seven sixteenths pole, ran in the four path of the far turn and finished evenly. V. I. P. TICKET settled back off the rail the first turn, eased out into the backstretch and gave chase from the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn near the rail and showed little further. MY FRIENDS BEER raced in the four path the first turn and entered the backstretch outside, bid approaching the seven sixteenths pole, lost ground on the far turn and weakened. W W SPRINGTIME ran in the three path the first turn, started a bid toward the seven sixteenths pole but faded off the rail on the far turn. COZZE CAT rated close to the early pace inside then faded through the backstretch.
