Chart notes
PROFESSIONAL stalked two wide, bid three wide on the far turn, dueled into the stretch, rallied to a short lead nearing the furlong marker, then drifted in bothering AEQUOR, edged away and held on late. AEQUOR raced three wide early, then stalked the leaders, chased on the far turn, rallied on the rail passing the quarter pole, checked when bothered at the eighth pole, angled out and rallied late. HOORAY FOR HARVEY raced off the pace inside, came five wide into the stretch, rallied late outside and got up for third. BOLD PAYNTER tracked on the inside, chased the leaders on the far turn, angled out five wide entering the stretch, rallied late and was between horses at the wire. FRIENDLY FELLA dueled inside for the lead, dueled on the far turn, dug in through the stretch and weakened late. EXCHEQUER raced three wide early, then dueled two wide for the lead, dueled on the far turn and faded. COACH ADAMS raced off the rail and did not factor. After a Stewards' Inquiry and Jockey Objection by the runner up, PROFESSIONAL was disqualified and placed second for coming over at the eighth pole.
