Chart notes
SALAH stalked in the two path, angled in at the top of the stretch, rallied along the rail and drove clear late. INVESTMENT ACCOUNT rated outside the leader on the first turn then went up to take control near the five-eighths while in hand, was coaxed near the quarter pole, led through the lane but was overtaken at the sixteenth pole and stayed on to secure the place. MONGOL ALTAI stumbled and broke out, trailed early on, advanced up the backstretch, raced outside the top pair into the far turn, entered the stretch four wide and went evenly late. HEIR (FR) was off a bit slow from the far outside, steadied slightly off heels at the half-mile pole, angled five wide and needed more late. INESPERADO got shuffled between at the start, bid outside at the seven-sixteenths, raced between on the far turn and flattened out in the lane. BOLD VOYAGER stalked the pace from inside, angled six wide leaving the far turn and could not rally. SHACKEY'S LOVE showed early speed going to the front, lost command early on the backstretch, vied inside then could not keep up into the far turn, lost ground around the second bend faded. BLUE STAR went three wide around the first turn, exited the last bend five wide and never got involved. REVISIONIST settled off the pace, came three wide into the stretch and tired.
