Chart notes
OUR GOLDEN BOY away alertly set the pace being pressured on the turn tightening rival along the rail near the quarter pole drawing off along the inside in upper stretch holding firm to wire. OMEGA GOLD pressing in bid along the inside on the turn was tightened at the rail checking near the quarter pole, angled four wide into upper stretch finishing evenly. FOOL FOR THE CITY was checked between horses entering the turn, came five wide into upper stretch posing no menace. BRAVE STRANGER chased the pace through the turn fading six wide in upper stretch. AN OBJECTION FROM THE RIDER OF OMEGA GOLD AGAINST THE RIDER OF OUR GOLDEN BOY FOR INTERFERENCE NEAR THE QUARTER POLE WAS DISMISSED BY THE STEWARDS.
