Chart notes
BORN TO BE KING showed speed from the inside, took command on the turn and widened under light handling through the stretch. FORGED BY FIRE was away alertly, saved ground on the turn and was up for place. NAKED IN THE WOODS was hustled early, raced evenly on the turn and from the four path at the top of the stretch held show. SLIGO CALLING showed no speed and was hustled along on the turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch needed more. WITCH'S NAUGHT was off slow, trailed the field on the turn and passed tired foes through the stretch. HOMELANDER tracked the leaders and was roused on the turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch had no response. CLIFF LANDING was off the pace and had a mild gain on the turn but flattened out through the stretch.
