Chart notes
PLATINUM SKY tracked the top two early leaders, remained in range around the turn, launched a three to four wide bid into the lane, responded willingly and pulled away. MOONSAFE picked up the pace three wide at the five sixteenths pole, roused five wide into the lane, sustained a steady bid and gained second best. PALMGIRL vied inside of GIDGET for the early lead, shook free around the turn, stayed clear on top into the lane, could not hold off the winner near the furlong marker, got collared and gave way. GIDGET vied outside of PALMGIRL for the early lead, could not match strides through the turn and gave way. LA BRODY raced inside in the opening quarter, was ridden along two to three wide into the lane and failed to move on. DECOUPAGE stumbled at the start and lost the rider, ran loose through the race then walked off.
