BIG BAD BUD dueled along the rail, edged ahead on the turn and remained safe under mild pressure. MONTELEONE dropped back at the start then advanced well near the inside. IRISH COLONEL saved ground close up then proved empty in the stretch. MANAHAWKIN lagged far behind then finished with good energy. JUPI'S LIGHTNING dueled winner outside and faded through the stretch. JUMP SHOT hustled just off the leaders wide and faded after half a mile. TOOK A CAB raced inside off the pace and gave way.
