Chart notes
TWICE SMITTEN broke slow, close up early, dropped back some along the three path on the turn, angled out, responded, gained the lead in gear and drew off. THROWING STONES away on top, vied for the lead along the three path, two path on the turn, kicked loose some and then drifted out at the sixteenths pole but held the place. TRIVIA never far back along the two path into the turn, took the rail into the lane, asked, appeared blocked at the sixteenths pole, checked and then finished well. FAST FRAN contested the lead four wide early, three path around the bend, chased and weakened. LUCKY SITKA fractious in the post parade tossing the jockey to the dirt, saved ground and then failed to threaten. SILVER BANSHEE well placed five wide early, four wide on the turn and tired. GILDA MARIE broke slow, four wide on the turn and tired. A stewards inquiry was posted concerning the stretch run, resulted in no change.
