Chart notes
HARPOON HARRY tracked the pace along the inside into the far turn, angled three wide in late turn, gained a short lead with an eighth to go then gamely held to the wire. FEBRUARY SON was unhurried while in the two path through the turn, bid into the lane two wide, bumped with another near the eighth pole, exchanged brushes near the sixteenth pole and finished with good energy from between rivals to miss. AKAMAI pressed the pace two wide into the turn, moved with the winner straightening in the lane, remained prominent through the final eighth and was outfinished while along the rail inside SIMON PETER was three wide into the lane, bumped by another near the eighth pole, exchanged brushes through the final eighth with the runner-up and finished with energy. MISCHIEVOUS ROGUE saved ground through the turn, cut the corner into the lane, was blocked behind several with and eighth to go, shifted into the five path and gained. RUFFLED WATERS was never a threat while entering the lane from the three or four path. HAIG POINT set the pace along the inside through the far turn then gave way after entering the lane. PER RULING FROM THE INDIANA RACING COMMISSION, HARPOON HARRY WAS DISQUALIFIED FOR POSITIVE TEST.
