Chart notes
AMERICA GREAT sat just off of the early pace, launched a middle move heading into the turn to contest the pace while four wide, vied for the lead and was roused off of the turn and drew clear in the stretch. MR BOTANICALS hesitated at the start, settled just off of the pace while four wide on the turn, swung widest into the stretch and was outkicked in the lane while running on the left lead, but did get up for second. AMITY HARBOR chased the leaders while three wide on the turn and was outfinished in the stretch run, just missing for second in the final stages. SMILING PATRICK pressed the early pace into the turn, was rank leaving the five-eighths marker, was two wide on the turn and weakened in the stretch. CASTLE DONOVAN LAD had no speed in the early going, saved ground on the turn and did not rally in the stretch. BALA DE ACERO set contested fractions while saving ground and gave out in the stretch run.
