Chart notes
POWER SONDE broke in to make contact with Driven To Succeed then exchanged lighter contact with Mary Boppins Too on the chute, gave early chase toward mid track, angled in leaving the five sixteenths pole and raced near the rail on the turn, angled back to the four path toward the head of the stretch and dug in to take the lead the final strides. WOODSONG'S CASTLE chased and rounded the turn in the three path, dueled to the lead in later yards but was caught the final strides. FOR WHAT accelerated to the lead and contested the pace through the backstretch, dueled clear past the quarter pole, raced at the rail on the turn and was steadily encouraged entering the stretch, was headed past the sixteenth pole and relented later yards. PIPERS GOLD pressured the pace two deep through the backstretch, dropped back past the quarter pole then weakened inside the eighth. DRIVEN TO SUCCEED was bumped sharply then pinched back at the break, picked up the chase outside, raced in the six path of the turn and passed rivals outside in an even finish. TAPTAP chased outside, rounded the turn about the five path then flattened the final sixteenth. MARY BOPPINS TOO came away awkwardly and outward and made contact with Driven To Succeed then exchanged lighter contact with Power Sonde on the chute, gave chase inside, checked off the heels of Power Sonde leaving the five sixteenths pole, raced near the rail on the turn and showed little more. COOK THE BOOKS gave chase, raced off the rail on the turn then weakened.
