RUNAWAY LUTE raced close up inside, came through on the rail near the seven sixteenths marker to take command, led into the stretch, responded when asked and drew clear. COBH bobbled at the break and was steadied, raced off the pace, split rivals on the turn, angled out at the top of the lane, rallied willingly but came up second best. CLIFFY raced off the pace inside, came four wide into the lane and rallied mildly outside. BRIMSTONE stalked in the early stages, chased three wide on the turn and weakened. NO HITTER dueled between rivals early, chased two wide on the turn and tired. SUCCESSFUL ZIP dueled four wide early, chased and faded. KONG STYLE dueled inside for the early lead, then chased and gave way.
