SMART N INTUITIVE stalked the pace, forged clear leaving the far turn, and held well thereafter under steady pressure. NIGHT TERROR grabbed the early lead, was headed leaving the far turn, proved no match and stayed on. SUPER SCORPIO chased while three wide, moved closer on the far turn and stayed on in the stretch. STORMIN' J. J. never menaced. TOO MANY BILLS was always outrun. MY BOBBY MCGEE chased the pacesetters and weakened. CIRCUIT RIDER showed little.
