Chart notes
GATEWAY GUARDIAN settled while saving ground, shifted three wide while roused at the quarter-pole, rallied between horses in upper stretch, closed well to make an outside bid inside the furlong marker and got up at the wire under strong urging. FAST GORDON was away alertly from the inside post, contested the pace on the inside of two foes while along the rail, shook clear when asked at the quarter-pole then came under a drive, was challenged by the winner inside the furlong marker, led to the final stride but was denied on the wire while able to get the place. EIGHT WEEKS LONG broke in and bumped with a foe, was unhurried towards the rear while saving ground, moved to the two path around the five-sixteenths, gained into upper stretch, pursued the leader while inside of GATEWAY GUARDIAN, chased into the final sixteenth, steadied between foes while being out-kicked late and settled for the show. ADDICTED TO YOU was bumped at the start and forced in, went three wide on the opening bend, settled at the rear, rounded the far turn in the two path, steadied coming to the quarter-pole, moved out while put to a drive in upper stretch and improved position. OUT OF THE BREECH went four then three wide on the first turn, was reserved towards the rear, came under urging in the four path on the far turn, spun five wide into the stretch, remained on his inside lead in the drive, split foes inside the furlong marker and lacked the needed response. MAJESTIC SKY went five wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was roused five wide on the turn then came six wide into the stretch and came up empty. D'VINICRIS contested the pace on the outside of two foes in the three to four path, lugged out late on the far turn, turned into the stretch under a tight left-handed grip, dropped back while lugging out in the drive and tired. BIELEFELD brushed with a rival at the start, went three wide on the first turn, was reserved off the pace, gained four wide on the final turn, spun five wide into the stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and had nothing left. OLIVER'S FORTUNE was coaxed early then became a bit keen in hand while four then three wide on the opening bend, settled off the pace, was asked four wide on the far turn and failed to respond. TACO BEAN brushed with a foe at the start, came out into the first turn then dropped to the two path, settled towards the front, chased in the two path on the far turn, turned into the stretch under a drive and also came up empty. SWEET FLATTERY saved ground on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along passing the half-mile pole, was urged three then four wide on the far turn, dropped back at the five-sixteenths and faltered. TICKET TO ANTIGUA vied for the lead in the two path while between horses, dropped back three wide into the far turn and retreated. FOLLOWING THE RACE, THE RIDER OF ADDICTED TO YOU CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST EIGHT WEEKS LONG FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE AT THE START AND THE QUARTER-POLE.
