Chart notes
DIABOLIC (IRE) was off slowly and settled in mid pack, closed along the rail on the turn, angled out in the stretch, rallied determinedly and swept by the duelers in the late stages under steady handling. CURLIN CANDY pressed the pace, chased three-wide on the turn, bid at the 1/4 pole, dueled, was passed late but held place. ROYAL ENGAGEMENT forced the pace, dueled into the turn, wore down BID ONCE, dueled anew when challenged by another, battled through the stretch but was passed by a late runner and lost the place award. LOIS LEN, bumped at the outset, settled off the pace, was hustled two to four-wide on the turn then found her best stride late. GUILEFUL broke outward, raced in mid pack, came three and four-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch but evened out late. GORMAN broke inward and bumped BID ONCE, pressed the pace, dropped back a bit on the turn but lacked a rally. JIMMY IS A BREEZE settled off the pace, saved ground but had no response in the stretch. BID ONCE was bumped leaving the gate, had speed and set a pressured pace, was joined at the turn, dueled, was headed mid turn and gave way.
