Chart notes
KING KLOVER trailed wide early, advanced steadily in the final turn, dueled through the stretch outside of BARE BACK JACK and inched up. BARE BACK JACK reserved off the dueling pacesetters, angled four wide into the lane, responded to challenge from KING KLOVER and was outfinished. TOMAHAWK EXPLORER vied from the two path, held a slim advantage over EL DORADO STORM through the turn, was overtaken in the drive and finished best of the others. AWESOME KNIGHT allowed to settle racing four wide and bid belatedly. DEVILS COMMAND rated off the pace and offered a mild rail bid into stretch. EL DORADO STORM vied outside for the early lead, was outsprinted through the turn and stopped.
