EXOTIC WEST was taken in hand early then put under vigorous restraint while in a little tight along the rail early on the first turn, traveled just behind the leader while rated under a tight hold, drafted inside early on the far turn, slipped into the two path while asked when EASTER CHOCOLATE began to weaken at the five-sixteenths, gained to take a short lead in upper stretch, was put to a right-handed crop coming to the furlong marker, swapped back to her inside lead outside the sixteenth-pole then moved clear in the final sixteenth under strong handling. BAYSHORE FOXES was asked leaving the gate and went to the front, dropped from the two path to close to the rail on the first turn, showed the way down the backstretch, vied inside on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole, lost the advantage while put to the crop in upper stretch. fought on with the winner until near the sixteenth-pole but was outfinished while able to get the place. ITALIAN TWIN went three then four wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was asked at the half-mile pole, chased three then four wide on the far turn, pursued the top two under a drive in the stretch, drifted out inside the furlong marker and lacked the needed kick while well clear for the show. EASTER CHOCOLATE broke out then was corrected by the rider, prompted the pace on the outside in the three path, came under urging in the two then three path on the far turn, dropped back late on that bend and tired. SEAHORSE D'ORO angled in at the rear of the field, saved ground on the first turn, moved out onto the backstretch, settled under coaxing, came under stronger encouragement in the two path on the far turn, swung five wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten. RED PEPPER GRILL was carried out some at the start, went three then two wide on the first turn, dropped to the rail entering the backstretch, lagged at the rear, was urged two then three wide on the far turn, came four wide into the stretch and was no factor. CHEROKEE SONG lost her footing at the start, moved out under some urging early, went three then two wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, came up empty on the final turn and faltered.
