Chart notes
ALWAYS A CATCH settled well, moved closer on the far turn and rallied while four wide in the stretch under vigorous handling. HOLIDAY MAN stalked the pace, responded leaving the far turn, led at the eighth pole but proved no match thereafter. PLUMBAGO bobbled at the start, was outrun early and managed to pass tired ones. GOOSE DRANK WINE sprinted clear, held well into the stretch and was worn down late. NASTIDA MAST never menaced. GOSPEL IKE saved ground and weakened.
