FREDDY SOTO raced in contention off the embattled pair, hustled up three wide late on the turn, set down five wide for the drive, steadily edged up closer and edged away in final stages. RISING PERRY raced in range tracking the early leaders, launched a bid at the head of the lane, angled in near the furlong marker, took a slim lead then got edged out late. BODIE CODY raced two wide off the early pace, shifted out six wide at the head of the lane and produced a solid finish. POLITICAL DECISION dueled inside of SIMMARDSTRIKE around the turn, battled on into the lane then had no closing kick left in reserve. SIMMARDSTRIKE dueled outside of POLITICAL DECISION around the turn, battled on into the lane then gave way in the final furlong. VINTNER saved ground around the turn, slightly gained position in the upper stretch then flattened out.
