Chart notes
DARK BLUE FLAME tracked the pace, saved ground through the turns, got through inside the leader into the stretch, dueled with that one, edged ahead and held. HAPPY BEE sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, dueled and was outfinished. BELLAS EYES mid pack, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and ran evenly the final furlong. BLACK PATENT SHOES well placed, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane, lugged in and could not gain. OUR FLIRTATION stalked the pace on the outside, held position on the two path through the second turn, bid three wide and had no rally. COUNTESS JESSICA was no factor, widest. SAMURAI SONG allowed to settle, moved up three and four wide through the second turn, then had no stretch rally.
