Chart notes
EXPRESSED was three wide into the first turn, then was well rated while two to three wide down the backstretch, advanced three wide on the turn, made a four wide bid leaving the quarter pole, drew clear in the final furlong to prove best under left handed urging. PURPLE SHIRT was allowed to settle while saving ground to leaving the quarter pole, then eased out leaving the turn and angled out five wide by the three sixteenths pole and closed well, got the place award late. MOONSHINE JUSTICE was keen early to set the pace while clear on the inside, then faded late losing the place award late but held on to the show award. BOOK OF ROMEO chased the pace two to three wide on the backstretch, then made a three wide bid approaching the quarter pole but flattened out in the drive. FORWHOMTHEBELLTOLL chased the pace from the inside but lacked the needed stretch bid while on the inside. FASHION NUGGET was reserved early and was two wide by the quarter pole but lacked a rally.
