Chart notes
TAKE THE BACKROADS broke alertly and went straight to the front, set the pace under pressure to her outside, vied along the rail on the turn, shook clear when set down into upper stretch, came under the crop while widening into the final furlong, drew off under the crop into the final sixteenth then was placed under a hand ride late while much the best. NEXT TUESDAY was sent hard from the start then urged along in third position, chased inside on the turn, swung four wide into the stretch under a drive and earned the place while no match for the winner. SWEET SURPRISE broke a step slow then was bumped by a foe and forced in, settled towards the rear on the inside, swung five wide into upper stretch, moved in late and got up for the show between horses on the wire. LEVIOSA was hustled from the start, pressed the pace on the outside, vied in the two to three path on the turn, lost touch with the winner into upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and weakened then lost the show. AMORE FIRE was urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn, dropped back passing the half-mile pole, saved ground on the turn and failed to rally. LOCKSTEP broke a step slow then bumped a rival, settled near the back, went two then three wide on the turn, came six wide into upper stretch and failed to threaten. CEE ARE EM broke a half-step slow then was sent hard, raced on the outside under strong urging, went two to three wide on the turn and came up empty. TWENTY TWO ELLE broke a step slow, settled towards the back on the outside, went three then four wide on the turn, came seven wide into upper stretch and was no factor. CONSERVATVE VALUES broke a step slow, was urged at the rear, raced inside to the two path on the turn, spun four wide into the stretch and never reached contention.
