Chart notes
BACKHAND vied for the lead on the inside, made a bid leaving the five sixteenths pole to gain a short lead, then held on late after a long drive to prove best under a drive. MISS INHOFE was well rated while three wide on the backstretch, made a four wide bid on the far turn to loom boldly, crossed over to be three wide by the three sixteenths pole, then was gaining late after a long drive but could not get by the winner. WILADENE was four wide into the first turn, then vied for the lead three wide and weakened while staying on to best the rest. ROYAL CHEYANNE chased the early pace on the inside on the backstretch, came off the rail on the turn and came into the drive five wide but offered no rally. TOUCH OF BLESSING was three wide into the first turn, then was reserved while four wide on the backstretch, then came six wide into the drive and had no response. CANDY EMPIRE showed no speed and was not a factor. PRINCESS LENNY was three wide into the first turn, vied for the lead between horses and tired.
