Chart notes
FOLTYNEWICZ sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held that margin to the final furlong, then prevailed under steady pressure. ROBERTOS TICKET well placed and inside, saved ground through the turn, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, made a steady gain and missed. DONALD stalked the pace on the outside, bid three wide outside the leader, then lacked the needed late kick. INDIAN TANGO never far back, looped up three wide through the turn, bid four wide into the stretch and evened out. GATTO ROSSO mid pack, moved up on the two path through the turn, bid on that path into the lane and ran evenly. DETANGLER allowed to settle, moved up three and four wide through the turn, bid four wide into the lane and had a mild gain. REDMARK was no factor. SUPER VALENTINE was never involved.
