Chart notes
BINGO JOHN brushed with foes on both sides at the start, went three wide on the first turn, was rated while tracking the pace, vied in the three path on the far turn, was asked as JOEY LOOSE LIPS came through to take the lead at the five-sixteenths, pursued that foe under a left-handed crop in upper stretch, switched to a right-handed crop at the furlong marker, gained quickly into the final sixteenth and got up under strong handling. JOEY LOOSE LIPS moved in while showing early speed, was taken back off the pace while along the rail on the first turn then rated just behind the leader, slipped through against the rail inside the three-eighths to take the lead then kicked clear, was put to a left-handed crop in upper stretch, remained well clear into the final furlong, shortened stride with a diminishing lead into the final sixteenth, switched to a right-handed crop shortly thereafter and was caught while clear for the place. OUR MAN MIKE moved out at the rear under urging early, went two to three wide on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged four wide on the far turn and lacked the needed response while able to secure the show. IRISH VALOR brushed with an opponent at the start then was hustled, raced inside to the two path on the first turn, settled off the pace, was urged along in the two path early on the far turn then shifted four wide, moved to five wide outside the quarter-pole and failed to threaten. UNCLE CURLY was rated just off the pace in the two to three path, came under urging at the five-sixteenths and failed to respond. HERE'S WALDO was hustled from the outside post, went three then two wide on the first turn, showed the way through moderate fractions, was urged along into the far turn, vied in the two path on that bend, lost the advantage inside the three-eighths and tired. BUSTIN THE RULES broke in and brushed with a foe, went four wide on the first turn, was rated just off the pace, came under urging in the four path on the far turn, dropped back into upper stretch and capitulated. QUICK RETURN saved ground while in hand on the opening bend, dropped back behind a foe late on that bend, was rated under tight restraint, went three then two wide while still under restraint on the final turn, was roused three wide into the stretch then moved out under a drive and failed to respond.
