Chart notes
ICE BOX INDY sat in striking range while three to four wide, began bid nearing the quarter pole, gained ground upper stretch then drifted in under right handed encouragement and inched up just in time. VICTORY AT LAST chased the leader from along the rail, gained a slim advantage at the three eighths pole, responded to challenge from ICE BOX INDY into the stretch, rider lost riding crop in the final sixteenth and bested late. CAB SAV chased wide through the backstretch and passed tiring rival late for show. GRADY'S SONG tracked four wide and lacked a serious bid. DRAYTON trailed leaving the backstretch and failed to menace. FAST EH set the early pace then was overtaken near the three eighths marker, was unable to keep pace with the field and stopped.
