Chart notes
PRETTY BOY ELM set the pace early, was on the inside into the lane, inched further near the eighth pole and held off rival in the final stages. ARCHIE CAN'T SELL stalked the pace early, was in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane with a late bid but did not have enough in the final stages. SIR ACEALOT was a bit slow at the start and raced back early on, was off the rail into the lane and rolling late in the stretch run. MIDNIGHT LEWIS was a bit slow at the start, chased the pace early, raced in the five path into the lane and finished willingly in the late stages. EL CASADORA raced back early on, was off the rail into the lane, made a bid down the lane but weakened late in the drive. CLEARLY MAD trailed the field early on, was in the four path into the lane with a belated gain in the stretch run. HELLUVA LIFE pressed the pace early, was in the three path into the lane and caved down the lane.
