MRS CLAUS raced in the three path along the first turn, chased the pace, waited along the far turn, was in the four path into the lane, rallied down the lane, drove past the leaders near the sixteenth pole and shot away in the final stages. BLEND raced in the three path along the first turn, stalked the early pace, was in the three path into the lane, inched ahead near the eighth pole but was no match for the winner in the final stages. OSAKA GIRL was bumped and bothered at the start, raced along the inside in the first turn, was in the two path into the lane while making a bid but weakened late in the stretch run. TONAPITA was bumped and bothered at the start, raced in the two path along the first turn, was in the four path into the lane and moved up late in the stretch drive.
