Chart notes
PUBLIC SECTOR (GB) was reserved off the pace while saving ground, drafted behind horses on the final turn, was asked at the quarter-pole then came off the rail before being kept to the inside by WOLFIE'S DYNAGHOST, made a rail bid in the vicinity of the three-sixteenths, took the lead under a drive just inside the furlong marker, battled with the runner-up into the final sixteenth and prevailed under strong urging. ANNEX saved ground on the first turn, settled towards the rear, started the far turn in the two path, angled five wide while roused late on that bend then rallied six wide into the stretch, drifted in when given one pop of a right-handed crop near the three-sixteenths, came in again under a right-handed crop while making a bid outside the furlong marker, cut in front of ORIGINAL and had that foe clip his heels, battled outside of the winner into the final sixteenth and missed while able to get the place. IN EFFECT broke in then bumped the hindquarters of a foe and was off a touch slow, saved ground while reserved at the rear, was asked outside the quarter-pole, waited while blocked from the top of the stretch to the furlong marker, was roused shortly thereafter then chased behind the winner and finished with good courage for the show but lost any chance at victory. NEXT went to the front, traveled around the first turn in the two path, set the pace through solid fractions, vied inside on the far turn, was asked at the quarter-pole then came under a drive in upper stretch, lost the advantage just inside the furlong marker and weakened. EASY TIME was bumped in the hindquarters at the start, rounded the first turn in the two path, settled on the outside, went two then three wide on the far turn, came four wide between horses into the stretch, chased the vanguard while still between foes, jostled with ORIGINAL as that foe was bothered approaching the furlong marker then paused, was put back to urging shortly thereafter and came up empty. WOLFIE'S DYNAGHOST broke out at the start, stayed out in the four path on the first turn, stalked the pace on the outside, vied in the two path on the far turn, was asked near the quarter-pole then battled under a drive in upper stretch, dropped back into the final furlong and tired. ORIGINAL broke a step slow, went three wide on the first turn, settled on the outside, was asked while three then four wide on the far turn, came five wide into the stretch, pursued the vanguard between horses past the three-sixteenths, was cut-off by ANNEX while dropping back a touch outside the furlong marker then jostled with a foe and clipped heels badly, stumbled very awkwardly in the process, dropped out of the race and was pulled up but walked off.
