MISS GRANDSTANDER was hustled up to set a pressured pace, dug in at even terms to the challenge of Juba Train approaching the quarter pole, contested at a slim disadvantage nearest the rail on the turn, recovered the edge past the eighth pole and held on under steady encouragement. THELADYISTRUE exchanged contact with Thislillimeofmine leaving the gate then angled to the outside to give chase, raced in the three path of the turn and dug in from the top of the lane to take second the final strides, while also gaining on the winner. JUBA TRAIN pressured the pace through the backstretch and drew to even terms approaching the quarter pole, contested the edge two deep on the turn, but was headed past the eighth pole then nipped from second the final strides. THISLILLIMEOFMINE exchanged contact with Theladyistrue leaving the gate then gave chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn in the three path and showed little more. Q'S SONG gave chase inside and rounded the turn at the rail.
