Chart notes
FIRST CRUSADER brushed at the break joined the pace wresting the lead into the backside, held daylight through the far turn widening along the inside in upper stretch, threatened from the outside would angle out with a sixteenth to go holding on under heavy pressure late. KNOCKHOLT never far back engaged in bid splitting horses at the head of the stretch angling out under left hand urging ending up in the seven path pressing the winner hard in the last yards. STOCK CHAIN stalked the pace giving chase on the far turn, unable to keep up at the head of the lane was angled out to mid track then carried out farther in the late going. CAKE AND EAT IT TO advanced to the far turn pursuing there losing ground to upper stretch finishing evenly while seven an eight wide. SWAT PARTY raced evenly off the pace moving in the three path down the lane posing no menace. DEPUTY BEN tracked to the far turn wearing down into upper stretch. JULIE'S FERRARI hustled along pursued to the far turn wearing out into upper stretch. STERLING CAESAR raced wide folding up on the far turn.
