Chart notes
PRINCE DE PRINCE broke sharply and set the quick pace through the turn while saving ground and drew away in the stretch. HANDSOME GARY chased the winner through the backstretch and on the turn while three wide and made a mild late gain in the stretch to take second. FLICFLAC settled toward the rear of the field, was three wide on the turn and made a mild late rally in the stretch to just miss for the place. CIRCUS ACT prompted the pace by PRINCE DE PRINCE through the turn while two wide, was outrun off of the turn and weakened in the stretch run. GEE GEE WHIZ was slow into stride and had no speed in the early going, was two wide on the turn and was not a factor. ENOUGH NONSENSE chased the pace through the turn while two wide, lost ground nearing the quarter-pole and faded in the stretch.
