Chart notes
DONNIE BOY raced within striking distance, made a late bid, angled out down the stretch and was going away at the end. PAPA JR raced within contention, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner and was just up for second. MO CREDO lacked early speed, made a steady gain and just missed for second. SON CARLOS challenged for the early lead, raced close throughout, but lacked a late kick. LETSTAKEITOUTSIDE raced near the middle of the field, made a mild bid, while finishing wide and was no factor. ITS A DEAL dueled for the early lead, saved ground, drove clear down the stretch and tired. KING OF CONTRABAND raced within striking distance and weakened. BAYOU SARGE raced near the middle of the pack and faded, while finishing wide. I LIKE DREAMING void of early speed and showed little. RONALDS GATSBY always raced near the back and was outrun.
