Chart notes
LENNY K broke outward and settled in mid pack, chased four-wide on the turn, bid a furlong out, dueled through the stretch and prevailed under a drive. AIM FOR THE SKY had a short lead, set a very pressured pace, was joined a furlong out, battled to the wire but was outfinished. SANDY BAY stalked up close, was hustled from the rail and two-wide on the turn, chased into the stretch and finished under a determined drive. HURRICANE DANCER moved up quickly to force the pace, chased two-wide into the stretch then his rally stalled. CHECKERBOARD FLOOR held a brief early lead, dropped back to the rear, came on again late turn but tired at the top of the stretch. SEAU settled off the pace, was hustled four and five-wide on the turn then finished gamely to no avail. AL HEYBAY broke in the air and settled off the pace, chased hard angling from the rail to three-wide on the turn but never reached contention. RITMO DE CUECA (ARG) raced in mid pack, was hustled from two-wide and the rail on the turn but never reached contention.
