Chart notes
LAST SAMURAI settled inside through early stages, picked up the pace nearing the quarter pole, went five wide into the lane, advanced into striking distanace, dug in and got up on the wire. BUY ME CANDY picked up the pace near the half mile marker, crept up three wide leaving the far turn, gained a slim lead then got nipped on the wire. ENGLISH TAVERN stalked the pace, raced along the rail around the far turn, moved up inside, vied for the late lead then lacked a final kick. QUID raced off the pace, swung six wide into the lane, gained closer contention then evened out late. JUST WHISTLE tracked the pace inside, angled out the head of the lane, gained closer contention but needed more for serious impact. HEZA KITTEN was allowed to settle, urged three wide late on the far turn, showed response near the furlong marker then flattened out. SALVATOR MUNDI vied inside through the backstretch, fought back into the lane then faded in the final furlong. POINT OF GRACE was reserved, saved ground around the far turn and lacked a needed rally. HEY PADRE dueled outside of rival through the backstretch, fought back around the far turn then faded in the lane. LYRICAL GANGSTER raced near midpack and gave way late on the far turn.
