Chart notes
JUANITA'S EXPRESS was reserved early, advanced three to four wide on the turn, made a bid in the stretch and draw clear late to prove best under a drive. JOHN E'S COWBOY was allowed to settle early on the inside, then eased out and made a three wide move on the turn to take over nearing the furlong marker, but could not hold off the winner late while second best. ALTMEISTER vied for the lead on the inside and made a bid to take over on the turn while clear but weakened in the drive while saving the show award. DECEIVER was settled back early and on the inside on the backstretch, came off the rail to move pass a rival on the turn, then angled out in the drive to offer a belated rally under strong urging. ENGLISH HONEY was four wide into the first turn while close to the pace, then continued four wide journey on the backstretch while racing greenly, made a mild bid entering the turn then tired. HAY SPORT vied for the lead three wide then stopped.
