Chart notes
SHINING COLORS was hustled from the start, moved up to press the pace on the inside, took the lead leaving the backstretch, vied inside on the turn, was asked coming to the quarter-pole, spun off the rail into upper stretch then was put to a right-handed crop, drifted out under a continued right-handed crop while drawing away in the final furlong and proved much the best under strong urging. BONKERS was ridden along near the back, traveled around the turn in the two path, was driven five wide into the stretch and garnered the place while no match for the winner. MY SUNNY VALENTINE was sent hard from the start, angled in while urged along just off the pace, shied out near the half-mile pole then dropped back into the turn, went four then three wide on that bend, drifted inward in upper stretch, moved in and out under a drive in the lane and lacked the needed response while best of the rest. MADAME ROSE bobbled slightly at the start, was well placed just off the pace, moved out near the half-mile pole, chased two then three wide on the turn, spun four wide into the stretch and tired. MS PENELOPEPITSTOP broke out at the start, set the pace while outside of a foe, was headed while lugging out four wide into the turn, dropped to the two path near the three-eighths, cornered three wide for home under a drive and capitulated. ADELE KAT was hustled from the start then urged along on the outside, went five then four wide on the turn, dropped to the two path approaching the quarter-pole, moved out in upper stretch and failed to respond. WILDWOOD FLASH broke out then was hustled, chased the pace on the outside, dropped back five then four wide on the turn, floated six wide into the stretch and had nothing left.
