Chart notes
IOWA NATIVE led early, was engaged in a duel throughout and responded gamely after being headed to prevail in the late stages. SIR BRAHMS forced the pace, led late and finished willingly. HATTIES JEWEL reserved early, commenced a bid on the far turn and rallied while three wide in the stretch. ROLLER outpaced early, advanced on the far turn and stayed on in the stretch. SILVER AND ACES was always outrun. FOURTH DESIGN raced in striking position while four wide and weakened.
