SPEAKER'S CORNER bobbled at the start and was off a step slow, tugged at the bit under restraint early then was well spotted, ranged up while shifting from the two path to the three path early on the turn, made a bid between foes with three furlongs to run, was asked while narrowly in front at the five-sixteenths, shook clear under a left-handed crop outside the eighth-pole, was switched to a right-handed crop while drifting out some into the final furlong and powered away under strong handling. DEFEATER was off slow and spotted the front a few lengths, moved up then was taken in hand inside the three-quarter pole, moved out around the nine-sixteenths, advanced five wide early on the turn, dropped to the four path while making a bid with three furlongs to run, came in some under a drive in upper stretch then lost touch with the winner into the final furlong, moved in behind that foe shortly thereafter and proved no match while able to get the place. MAHAAMEL hit the inside off the gate at the start then was hustled, disputed the pace on the outside, vied in the two path early on the turn then came under heavy pressure between horses, was roused at the five-sixteenths, dropped back into upper stretch and weakened but just held the show. WILL SING FOR WINE hit the inside of the gate at the start, settled off the pace, moved in near the nine-sixteenths, was urged two to three wide on the turn, angled five wide outside the quarter-pole, chased into the final furlong and tired. MR. TIP settled on the outside, was urged four then five wide on the turn then driven six wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. TEN FOR TEN displayed good speed, contested the pace on the inside of a foe, vied along the rail on the turn, was asked while inside a trio of foes at the five-sixteenths, dropped back into upper stretch and capitulated. MEISTER broke in then hit the gate and was off a step slow, settled towards the rear, saved ground under urging on the turn, came three wide into the stretch and failed to threaten. ASHIHAM was sent from the start, chased the pace down the backstretch, went around the turn in the four path, dropped back at the five-sixteenths, spun five wide into the stretch and faded.
