Chart notes
REAL TALK broke sharply to establish the early lead, set the pace on the inside, dueled on the turn, responded when roused entering the stretch, drew clear and was ridden out. MIGHTY MISCHIEF chased three wide early, bid three wide on the turn, drifted wide entering the stretch, rallied outside and earned the place award. MOONLITE STRIKE raced close up on the inside, chased on the turn, rallied mildly on the rail in the stretch and got up late for third. FIRE SWORD chased two wide early, dueled two wide on the turn, battled into the stretch, weakened late and lost third. UPSTRIKER chased four wide early, chased two wide on the turn and failed to rally. AMERICAN GENTLEMAN raced close up early and was shuffled back in a bit tight, then chased and tired.
