Chart notes
BETTER TAPIT allowed to settle, looped up three and four wide through the second turn, fanned widest into the lane, made a steady gain and edged up late. BOARDWALK BOB mid pack, saved ground through the turn, angled out to bid three wide into the stretch, then lacked the needed late kick. WHOOPS stalked the pace on the outside, gained a short lead through the second turn, then weakened late and held the show. STARSHIP GOTHAM allowed to settle, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch and weakened the final furlong. DERBY MODEL mid pack, gained a striking position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, then drifted in and out and weakened. DEPUTY OX allowed to settle, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid four wide into the lane and weakened. STARE DECISIS well placed, moved up to gain a clear lead down the backstretch, stayed on when challenged into the second turn, then faded the final furlong. R B MODEL T set the early pace on the inside and steadily lost ground. AZZEDINE (FR) well placed and outside, was through after a half.
