JAA MODE in hand along the two path, took the rail into the last turn, three path out of it, asked, gained and edged clear late. TAPIT HAPPY JOHN in hand along the three path, gained on that path around the final turn to reach the leader, battled that with success but could not handle the winner. JACKS AMERICAN PIE tracked, vied for the half mile, dueled into the last turn with SLASHING, battled the winner in the lane and weakened inside late. BELLAGIO checked at the start, trailed four wide on the turns and tired. SLASHING set the pace, dueled after a half mile along the two path to midway on the last turn and was done into the lane.
